Arik Waiss has been active in the food & beverage business for more than 35 years. During this time Arik succeeded in building strong relationships with different suppliers and developed a deep understanding of the different market segments and created new F&B business concepts. He opened his first business in the early ’90s and led F&B shop chains and wholesale companies all these years. Arik relocated with his family to London and launched  Doppio Coffee Warehouse in April 2010,  a unique business model which combined Retail and Wholesale coffee shop concepts under the same roof. He was one of the people at the forefront of the exciting coffee shop market development in the UK – The Espresso Revolution back in 2010. Utilising his accumulated experience in the UK, European and Middle Eastern markets, Arik has formed The Urban Concepts Wholesale and Retail as a marketing consultancy focused on developing new concepts, harnessing modern technologies and advising on Routes to Market.
